Natural Horsemanship

Natural horsemanship means using communication and leadership instead of intimidation and fear to work horses.

This means that instead of bullying a horse into obeying you, you instead develop a relationship with the horse and have a partnership where you are the leader. You become a safe, fair, and competent leader and partner. This preserves the dignity of the horse and the will of the horse.

It is truly amazing what horses can do when they WANT to work for you! This is something that can only be harnessed if you use natural techniques that are fair, courteous, and that establish trust and respect within the relationship.
